How do I get my Verano Joven code?
The process is very simple. You just have to register on the Summer Youth Portal of MITMA (Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda | https://veranojoven.transportes.gob.es/ ) and complete the registration process.
After verification, you will receive a code similar to JV24-XXXXXXXXX-YYYYY, where the X corresponds to your ID.
You must select the "Verano Joven 2024" discount card before performing your search. It will automatically be applied to the price of the train ticket in the results.
When you must enter the travelers' data, you must enter the code that you will have received.
Important: you must register at least 24 hours before purchasing your ticket. The code is personal and non-transferable.
Requirements to benefit from Summer Young 2024:
Having been born between January 1, 1994 and December 12, 2006.
Have Spanish or European nationality.
Legally reside in Spain.
To apply your Summer Young discount to a new passenger:
Access the travel search engine on the home page. Once you have selected the origin and destination, click on "passengers" .
In the new window that appears, click "Add discount card" .
Next to each passenger, a discount cards icon will appear. Click this icon to open a new window.
Select "Young Summer 2024" . You can do it for both Renfe and Iryo, the discount will be applied to all results
When you enter the passenger information, you must enter the code received .
To apply your Summer Young discount to a saved passenger:
Access your profile from the main menu.
In the new window that appears, click on "Saved Passengers" .
Click on "Add discount card" for the passenger who has a Verano Joven code.
To finish, simply write your Verano Joven code and save the changes.
When you enter the passenger information, you will be able to see your discount code applied.
